Steve x reader False alarm-Oneshot
For a week or so, you've been feeling unwell, and a few days ago you understood why, the "best friend" in red of every woman came to pay you a visit, stronger than ever and also worse than ever.
The alarm sounded and you tightened over Steve torso, basically, you are not a morning person; and with the fact that you were on those days, his heat made you feel quite better.
"(Y/n), I have to get up…"; he said patting your head.
"Urgghhh…. How about no?"; you said half-asleep.
"Sweetie, I need to shower and other things", Steve said while getting up.
"Other things" were you thinking when the sudden realization hit you, "He's going to take over the bathroom!!!". Suddenly you sit on the bed and grabbed your bathrobe (with all the things needed inside the pockets), then, while grabbing Steve by the pants you stood up on the bed and threw him back to the mattress while jumping to the bathroom.
"(Y/N)!!!!"
"Sorry, sorry but I need it more than you!!!"; and you closed the door locking it.

"Steveeeeeeee….."; you said while getting the juice from the fridge.
"Whaaaaaaaat…"; he said while making breakfast (pancakes).
"I'm hungry! How long are you going to keep me waiting?"
"I don't know, maybe the same time you let me waiting before?", he said grinning, but you couldn't see it 'cause he was giving you the back.
"I'm sorry but I really needed to go to the bathroom before you. You take forever to shower!!"; you added while throwing your hands in the air.
"Ok, ok. Here's the breakfast", he said, letting the plate with the pancakes in front of you.
Suddenly you felt a sting in your lower belly and your appetite disappeared.
"Erghhh.. I think I will pass breakfast today"
"But you said..", he said a bit worried.
"Yeah I know what I said, but I don't feel well", you said getting up.
"Are you sick?? Where does it hurt?? Should I call and said that you're not going to work today??" he said super-mega-hyper worried.
"Relax, it's not as if I'm dying, I just fell a bit dizzy, that's all"; you said kissing his forehead; "I'm going to dress up, enjoy the breakfast for me too"; and you headed back to the bedroom.
Back in the bedroom you changed clothes at light-speed and laid in the bed like a ball to suppress the pain, the pills didn't make effect at the instant, so you were waiting while Steve ate the pancakes by himself.

"Morning people!!"; you said waving at the Avengers, the pills finally made effect and you were happy about that.
"Morning (y/n), Capsicle", said Tony bowing in his chair.
When you seated in your usual place, between Steve and Bruce, you saw that Thor was eating his loved pop-tarts.
"Thor, Thor, hey, hey, gimme, gimme"; you said pointing at the pop-tarts.
"Dear (y/n), THIS is my second breakfast, so no"; he said protecting the sweets from you.
"C'mooooon, pretty please!?, if you give some now I'll treat you to an Italian restaurant where they made the best calzone ever!!"; you said trying to make a deal.
"What is that "calzone", is it food?"; he said quite intrigued.
"Yeah, it's like pizza but everything put in a sack made from the mass and it's delicious!! And they made different sizes, from the normal to the extra big", you said gesticulating.
"And who big is the extra big?"; he said, yes bit the hook!!
"The size of a head", you said getting close to the table, and so did Thor.
"For the glory of the almighty Odin! (y/n) that's marvelous!! Here take all you want"; he said offering you his pop-tarts, that you gladly accepted and ate.
"Dear (y/n)"; Thor called you.
"Umph", you "said" with the mouth full of sweets
"When are you taking me to this place?"
"Houw 'bout ness free day?", you said without swallow
"Perfect for me"; He said smiling; "Can you give some?", he added looking with puppy eyes at the pop-tarts.
"NO. MINE"; you said and filled your mouth with more.

"Guys"; Steve talked to the men; "Don't you think that (y/n) is behaving weird?"; he finally asked.
"Cap, no offence, but (y/n) IS weird"; Tony said; "She's dating you and not ME" he added, getting a glare from Steve.
"What do you mean?"; Clint asked ignoring Tony.
"Well, I don't know"; he said scratching the back of his head; "This morning she kicked me out of the bathroom and when she came out she looked paler than usual, later she said she was hungry and when she saw the breakfast she lost appetite saying she was dizzy, while sleeping she tend to curl up, and she has never done that….. And I don't know, she's different"; he said looking at everyone to see if they had any idea.
"She's pregnant, and trying to hide it, quite poorly for a spy"; Tony said; "It's the only explanation that I found plausible, what you said and what pregnant women do is the same"; he ended saying, "Captain Father".
"Pregnant?"; Steve could not believe it; "But how??"
"You know how, right? do you need an explanation on how women get pregnant?"; Tony offered.
"Shut up Stark, I know how babies are made!"; he said quite angry.
"Umh, Steve?"; Bruce said playing nervously with the glasses; "When was the last time you and (y/n)….. had sex?", he finally asked.
The realization hit Steve, and he went a bit pale; "Around…. a month…. and a half".
"You haven't had sex in a month and a half?????"; Tony asked without believe it; "You went from virgin to once every two months…. Impressive… For you".
"Stark, shut up, unlike others"; he said looking a Tony; "I have missions, and lately a lot".
"So, did you use a condom? because she might just be sick"; Clint finally talked.
"I'm not sure"; was all Steve could say.
"OMG!!!! I'm going to be an uncle!!!! I better start making the prototypes!!!"; Tony yelled and disappeared to one of the laboratories.
"I'm going to be a father?"; Steve asked worried, but the worry was replaced by happiness and joy; "I'm going to be a father!!!".
"Congrats man"; Clint said while patting his shoulder and Bruce did the same.

Meanwhile, you were asking Natasha if she had some stronger pills, because right now you were dying, again. She gave you some and you swallowed them without water when Fury entered the room and asked to talk to you, alone.
"Agent (y/l), how are you feeling?"; he asked with his pokerface.
"Errr… Fine? Sir"; you answered without getting what he meant.
"Good"; and he nodded to himself; "I've taken you out of the mission for next week, so take a few days off to relax and everything you need to do"; he said and left the room letting you speechless.
"What did he want?"; Natasha asked while entering the room.
"No idea, but he said to take a few days off"; you said looking at the door.
"Why?"
"Don't know"

Because Fury gave you the day off (and the next week to), you were heading to tell Steve, when you were lifted by a pair of strong, and Norse, arms.
"LADY (y/n)!!!!"; Thor yelled in your ear.
"WHAAAAT!!!??"; you screamed.
"Congratulationsss!!!! No wonder you were so hungry this morning!!"; he said smiling at you; "OH! And don't worry about the Italian thing, we can go other day, I don't mind at all"; he said giving you another hug.
"Oh, okay then….."; this was weird, first Fury and now Thor, what's next? Tony?

"(Y/n)!!!! Take a look at these models!!"; Tony said while handing you a lot of papers.
"What's this?? Some sort of armor?? For midgets??"; you just couldn't give a damn anymore, the day was weird in all forms.
"Exactly, but what do you thing about the colors??? I'm not going to use my colors for this one, so tell me your favorites, for this one are white, blue, and red, very patriotic right?? I'm sure Capsicle will like them!!"; he said without letting you think your answer; "Oh well, you've better thing to do than saying your favorite colors!!, don't worry they will look awesome!!"; he said and took the papers from you and left hurried.
"oookkkeeeeyyyyy, this is weird…. I'm leaving"; you said while looking for Steve, to tell him you were leaving early, when you found Clint and Bruce going your way.
"Don't you dare to say anything right now because I swear that I'll kill both of you"; you warned them before they could speak. And they didn't speak at all, Clint ruffled your hair while grinning and Bruce patted your shoulder with a small smile, and then they left.
"Where are youuuuuu, Steveeeeeeee, this day is weird as hell and I want to go hoommmeee!!"; you said to no one, you were alone in the corridor.

Finally!! At least you found Steve; "Honey you won't believe what have happened to me!! This day has been everything except normal!"; you said while approaching him.
Steve didn't say a word, he just looked at you; "Steve?? You ok?"; you asked a bit worried he never was so quiet around you. Then he got up and approached you, because this wasn't the usual Steve you stepped back without realizing it, but he grabbed you by the waist and rested his head atop yours.
"How are you?"; he finally said.
"Better?"
"Good"
"Steve? You ok? Because you just sounded like Fury"; you said worried, but he only chuckled at your comment and then sighed.
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"Tell you what?", now this was weird.
"About the baby"
"What baby? Who's pregnant?"; really what was happening today?
"Our baby"; he said looking at your eyes
"Steve, are you pregnant?"; you said death serious (not really)
"(y/n), you are the one pregnant. And you didn't even told me", he said with a hurt look.
"I'm not pregnant"; you said making a face.
"You're not??"; he asked not believing.
"Absolutely sure about that"
"But your behavior was weird as hell these past days"
"I can explain"; you said a bit embarrassed
"Explain then"
"God…. This is embarrassing as hell….. I'm with the period and sometimes it's worse than usual and I tend to behave different"
"Oh…….."; he said a bit embarrassed himself, but mostly sad, he was so excited about being a father, about having a baby with you.
"You ok?"; you asked now worried, grabbing his face gently.
"I don't know"; he said dubious; "I think I got excited about having a baby"
"Wait!! (y/n) is not pregnant????"; interrupted Tony.
"False alarm"; you said.
"But.. but…. THE SUIT!!!!"; he yelled while dropping the papers; "This isn't fair (y/n) you played with my feelings!!! I wanted to be your child uncle!!"; he got his things back and left the room sobbing and swearing.
"That was unexpected"; you said turning to see Steve that still looked a bit sad.
"Steveeeeee, honeyyyy cheer up!!!"; you said while hugging him by the waist.
He gave you a sad smile and pecked your lips, then sighed.
"Steve if you are this depressed you are going to make me feel sad to"
"I'm sorry, I just wanted to have a baby with you"; he said while putting you closer.
"Dummy!!"; You said and looked up while grinning in his embrace; "Don't you realize it?"
"Realize what?"; he asked you, not getting what you meant.
"Men….. You see, if you want to have a baby with me, and let me add that I also want to have a baby with you, we can get started when I finish with this bloody hell!!"; You said, and his eyes glowed with happiness.
"I like that plan"; he said, and pulled you closer to him, if that was even possible, and gave you the most loving kiss he ever gave you.

It's been two months since the whole confusion about your pregnancy, and now you and Steve could happily confirm that there was a baby on the way.
"So why are we here???"; Tony asked annoyed by the fact that today was his day off.
"Shut up Stark"; You said imitating Steve.
"Seriously, why are we here?"; Natasha asked cleaning one of her guns.
"I Just wanted to let you know that we will have a new member in the Avengers"; Steve said with his captain like tone.
"Who??"; Tony asked, putting his feet on the table and balancing the chair.
"Your nephew!!!"; You yelled smiling while Steve hugged your belly with a happy face.
"I'M GONNA BE AN UNCLE??????"; Tony yelled losing balance and falling to the floor with a loud sound; "REALLY???? YOU ARE NOT PLAYING WITH MY FEELINGS AGAIN, ARE YOU??"; he asked getting up.
"Congratulation guys!!"; said the rest of the group while hugging both of you and palpating your belly.
"THE SUIT"; Tony said suddenly sending a chill through your spin; "I have to get started now, I have less than 9 month to make them!!"; he said grinning like a child, and left the room screaming at J.A.R.V.I.S on the phone.
"STAAAAAAAAAAARKKKKK!!!!"; you screamed; "I'M NOT GOING TO LET YOU PUT ONE OF YOUR SUIT ON MY CHIIIIIIIIIIIILD!!!!!!".
You gave Steve a worried look; "Promise me you won't let him get close to our baby".
"I promise you, even if I have to kill Stark"; he reassured you.
"Good to hear that"; and pecked him on the lips; "Guys, please promise me that you will protect the baby from Tony, he's so stubborn…."
"We will do our best Lady (y/n)"; Thor said.
"Count it done"; Natasha added while Clint nodded.
"I can always smash him to the wall"; Bruce said playing with his glasses before putting them on and smile.
